Older Toddler

Childcare for Older Toddlers at Mini Minds
At Mini Minds, we understand the unique needs and developmental milestones of older toddlers, aged 2 to 3 years. Our childcare program for this age group is designed to provide a safe and flexible environment that encourages their growing sense of independence and curiosity. Our experienced and caring educators create a balance of structured activities and unstructured playtime, allowing older toddlers to explore their creativity and socialize with their peers. Our curriculum focuses on language development, cognitive skills, fine and gross motor development, and social-emotional growth. Through engaging activities, such as storytime, art projects, sensory play, and outdoor exploration, we foster their love of learning while helping them develop the essential skills they need for future success. With a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment, our childcare program for older toddlers at Mini Minds creates a solid foundation for their continued growth and development.

Schedule

At Mini Minds Childcare & Early Learning Center, we understand the importance of providing a well-structured schedule for our toddlers. Our daily routine is carefully crafted to meet the developmental needs of these young learners. The day begins with a warm welcome as children arrive, followed by engaging indoor and outdoor play activities that promote socialization and gross motor skills. A healthy snack time ensures their little tummies are satisfied, and then it's off to various learning centers where they explore art, music, language, and early math concepts. After a nutritious lunch, we provide a rest time to recharge their energy levels, followed by more fun and engaging activities in the afternoon. Our schedule ensures consistency and allows toddlers to thrive in a safe, structured, and stimulating environment.

  • Per chapter 3270 child care regulations, the older toddler to teacher ratio is 6:1. This means one teacher can be responsible for up to 6 older toddlers.

  • All teachers are first aid, CPR, & fire safety certified as well as trained on all emergency procedures.
